Mafex Homelander Action Figure – The Boys Superhero Collectible

Some collectibles are bought on impulse. Others get ordered at 2 a.m. right after a season finale, when you suddenly decide your desk cannot survive another day without a Homelander standing on it. If that sounds familiar, the MAFEX line built by Medicom Toy has become one of the more serious options for fans of The Boys who want something poseable rather than a statue that just stands there judging you.

Two Supes, Two Very Different Shelf Personalities

The lineup covers Homelander (MAFEX No. 151) and Starlight (MAFEX No. 152), so you can pick a side or grab both and let them glare at each other across the display. Both are 1/12 scale and stand roughly 16 cm tall, which puts them in comfortable company with most other 1/12 figures already on your shelf. Here’s the thing — scale consistency matters more than people admit, and one mismatched height can wreck a display faster than bad lighting ever will.

What’s Actually Inside the Window Box

• Materials: PVC and ABS, the standard combo for articulated figures
• Height: approximately 16 cm (6.3 inches) at 1/12 scale
• Articulation: multiple articulated joints for action poses
• Accessories: interchangeable hands, interchangeable heads, and a display stand — with the exact assortment varying by character
• Packaging: window box; no assembly required and no batteries needed
• Recommended age: 15 years and up

Where This Homelander and Starlight Figure Pair Earns Its Spot

Articulation is the whole point of a MAFEX action figure, and these deliver on that front — enough joints to hold a mid-flight pose or a smug arms-crossed stance without flopping over. The swappable heads and hands let you change the mood of a display in seconds, which is handy when you get bored of the same expression staring back at you. A display stand is included, and that matters for any character who spends most of their screen time airborne. The PVC and ABS build is what you’d expect at this tier, and the window box means in-box collectors can keep everything sealed and still see what they bought.

A Few Honest Catches Before You Commit

Fair warning: the accessory count isn’t identical across the two characters, so don’t assume the boxes mirror each other inside. The 15-and-up age recommendation is also worth taking seriously — despite the toy phrasing in the title, these are collector pieces with small swappable parts, not something to hand off to a young kid. And the listing credits Bandai at the top while Medicom Toy is named as the manufacturer, so it’s worth confirming with a seller exactly which version is shipping before you order.

So which one lands on your shelf — the hero or the villain? If you’ve been hunting a 1/12 scale figure of either character, this pair is a reasonable place to start. Check the character listing carefully, confirm the accessory set, and enjoy having a little Vought presence in your collection.
